I’m All About the Process of Embroidery

I’ve learned what it takes to do quality embroidery designs. For me, I would rather take my time and spend the money on quality fabrics and the best embroidery machines to get the right result than to get it done cheap and fast. So, if you’re looking for a bargain… I’m not your person. It took me over 10 years of enthusiastic learning and effort to gain my skills. My family and friends have enjoyed these gifts and have told their friends and acquaintances about my work. I created this website to provide information about who I am and what I do.

I am retired from corporate life. Worked in accounting, auditing, and real estate.

Now, as a wife and mother of 3 sons, I still have a need to keep busy creating and found my joy in this fun process of creating beautiful embroideries.

Quality Embroidery Takes Time

Most simple designs take 2-3 hours, not counting the prep time of planning and sizing the design for your machine. Purchasing the fabric, choosing the color threads; gathering and cutting the fabric; picking the right stabilizer for the design; downloading the design from your computer to your embroidery machine; and preparing your embroidery machine to embroider (clean bobbin area, changing the needle, calibrate the machine). It is a labor of love. If there are letters in your design, there needs to be an overlay so that there is a foundation for the letters and when the embroidery is finished the overlay needs to be cleaned out. Everything needs to be ironed.

I love every part of the process! And when it is all done, WOW.
